INSURANCE
British Trust Conservation Volunteers [BTCV] offers associate group membership at £30 per year. Public Liability Insurance of £5 million or £10 million is available plus personal injury cover, tools and buildings/land cover. The group policy is with Zurich.
The cover varies if powered tools or chainsaws are used and the number of volunteer days in one year.
Members are reminded that BTCV has asked that we no longer display their logo on our websites, letterheads etc. This is as a result of a dictate from the Charity Commissioners.
NCVO membership is free to groups with an annual turnover of less than £50,000 and public liability and other insurance cover is available.
