Edinburgh Cemeteries Support Group
The site for the 40th cemetery in Edinburgh has been chosen. The notice of objection by the citizens has appeared in the Evening News. A site measuring 6.07 hectares has been chosen on the northeast side of the Old Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh. They hope that there will be no objections.

Recording Angels
The group are interested in preserving the memorials in Midlothian. They have produced the second edition of their books on Carrington, Fala and Soutra Cemeteries. Loanhead has had to be delayed so the next publication should be for Newbattle Old. About 10 cemeteries are on the 'to do list'.
